The North Face Climb Festival: Mind the Drop - Elite climbers go head-to-head in London
- Thursday 13th June 2024
Celebrate the very best of climbing this summer with the first-ever London edition of The North Face Climb Festival. Watch some of the world’s top climbers go head-to-head in Deep Water Solo climbing, taking on a 16-metre-high wall, with only the water of Canary Wharf Dock to break their fall.
Held for the first time in Chicago last year, The North Face Climb Festival goes global this summer, with Shanghai, London and New York all hosting events to offer elite climbers the ultimate opportunity to test their skills and inspire others to get on the wall.
Taking place in Canary Wharf’s south dock, the festival will feature climbing workshops from professional athletes, including The North Face climbers Caroline Ciavaldini, James Pearson and Solenne Piret. With inspirational talks from big wall climbers, a clothing repair space, an immersive retail experience and a live dyno competition, the festival offers something for everyone.
The festival will also feature DJ sets from some of the capital's brightest young artists, including Ross From Friends, Laurence Guy, NiNE8 Collective, Anu and JJESS. Each will bring their own unique music style to the event, shaping the sounds of the weekend.
The North Face Climb Festival will take place 12-13 July in London’s Canary Wharf. Tickets are free XPLR pass members have the chance to win VIP tickets for the weekend, including getting a unique The North Face Climbing Festival T-shirt. For a full event schedule and set times please visit:
