They say that buses usually come in twos but in the space of just two days three separate Font 8b’s have been polished off by three separate boulderers; James Noble doing Serenity, Dan Turner doing Yes We Can and Ben Freeman doing The Voyager.
Ben Moon talks Brushing

Ben Moon’s latest blog is all about brushing and the damage it can cause to soft rocks such as sandstone and in some cases, gritstone. Ben, like most climbers, admits to having brushed loads of holds in his time but now he’s questioning whether it’s necessary, whether it works and whether there isn’t a better way.

Will Gadd climbs Niagara Falls

Red Bull are reporting on their website that Will Gadd has just climbed up what has hitherto only every gone down – ie Niagra Falls. Recently named as ‘Adventurer of the Year’ by National Geographic, Will Gadd made his ascent in late January.
